Formerly the Executive Chef of IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel Paraíso, Chef Daniel Rodríguez now brings his talent to IBEROSTAR Cancún. Chef Rodríguez applies his innate love of cooking, his vast experience and his creative talent to every menu he creates.
His stellar career began when he was a mere 14 years old, working as a chef’s assistant in his hometown of País Vasco, a region known for its excellent cuisine. After attending San Sebastian’s Escuela Superior de Cocina, he later gained experience in Spanish cuisine and other international cuisines from prestigious restaurants and hotels throughout Spain, including Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, San Sebastian, Valencia and Ibiza. In 1993 he relocated to the Caribbean where he became Executive Chef of several resorts in Dominican Republic and Mexico.
